A warm welcome to you in our practice De Wedren, a small GP practice owned by Offra Duerink and Maurice Hagenbeek. Together with doctors Danielle Riem and Guy Oehlen, they provide all GP medical care for our patients. All doctors speak English and you are welcome to make an appointment when you have any questions regarding your health or illness.

Due to the increasing workload we decided to limit our patientnumber for the near future. Registration for new patiënts will therefore only be possible when somebody leaves our practices. There will be a waiting list for people who would like to be registred.

Telephone options in English
Unfortunately our telephone system is available in Dutch only at the moment.
When you call us the options are as follows:
press 1 for a medical emergency which requires immediate attention
press 2 for voicemail ordering of any repeat prescription medication. Please state clearly your name, date of birth, name of medication, dosage and how you use the required medication. We will process all prescriptions the following day. You can pick up your medication at your pharmacy two days after ordering.
press 3 for the assistant / administration
press 4 when you are a colleague and you have a question concerning one of our patients.
When you need urgent medical attention outside office hours you can call the GP post (huisartsenpost) located at CWZ hospital, telephone 0900-8880. Weg door Jonkerbos 108, 6532 SZ Nijmegen
Our practice is temporarily closed for new patient, there is a waitinglist for new patients who want to apply. New patients will be registred when somebody else leaves the practice.
You can apply for the waitinglist when you live in postalcode area 6511-6522-6523-6524-6525 or 6564 north of the van de Meerwijkselaan.

Please provide us with your signed registration form at the GP practice, then we will check your ID. Note that any and all medical history should be submitted with your signed registration form.
Patient online environment
Look after your care online with ease at https://www.hapdewedren.nl/patientenomgeving/! This service is NOT for emergencies
In the patient environment you can ask questions 24 hours a day. With your own account you log in securely and you do not have to enter your details every time.
Unfortunately this service is available only for patients who are registred as regular patients and who have a dutch health insurance.
All buttons are in dutch but this is what they mean.
Herhaal recepten aanvragen = Request prescriptions directly from your medication list and receive reminders if you need your medication again.
Vragen stellen = Ask your doctor directly about your medical questions in a secure environment. You will receive a message as soon as your consultation has been answered.
(At the moment you can only select doctor Duerink as a doctor, but doctor Hagenbeek, docter Riem and docter van Noord can also see and answer your questions. We will examine internally which doctor can best answer your question. You can also state your preference in the text.) In general your question will be ansewerd the next working day, however when it is necessary that a specific docter answers your question, it may take us longer to answer your question.
Afspraak inplannen = Make an appointment online, view the available slots in your doctor’s schedule and book a consultation as soon as it suits you.
Dossier bekijken = look in your GP medical file online, you can also see your latest lab results.

The assistent is present at the front office on working days from:
- 8.00 a.m. until 12.30 and
- 13.30 until 17.00 p.m.
